I think the best thing would be to get used to the car stock for awhile and get a feel for how it drives before going FI. Just my opinion. If money is no object then you could get a Mike Simon built motor and a turbo. Build up the drive train to take all the power. Use a AEM EMS to tune it and boost it up to 25psi. With around $15k - $20k you could have an S2000 running around 500hp. But how reliably is the question. The cars not ment to handle anywhere near that power so Im sure there would be many problems involved.

Well with $8k - $10k you could get the built motor, and the turbo but not much else.

Built motor - $6000
Turbo kit - $5000
AEM EMS - $1200
Exhaust - $1000
Clutch - $600
Reenforched Differential, LSD - $1500

You can see how it adds up quick and can be around $15k and there are many small things needed that I didnt list.

To get quickest car for that amount, I'd say go turbo. You'll sacrifice a bit of drivability and reliability (along with increased maintenance) but what the heck.

Better check to make sure your S2000 is in top condition first since you didn't buy it new. Adding turbo, sc, or NOS amplifies any weakness in your car.

Look at Speedcraft, or Stage 6 for the turbo. For an SC Comptech & Vortech.
