I don't think that will work. He should have tried increasing the fuel pressure via the AFR...that would have told him immediately if the injectors could handle more fuel or not. That's the first thing I'd try. If it works, then I'd leave the pressure turned up a bit, instead of messing with a V-AFC.

I think the tuners did turn up the FPR and he was still lean, same guys did my car and said they thought if he had a VAFC, they could have richened it up a bit.

They leaned mine out in the mid range cause it was way rich

That's why I think the V-AFC won't do anything. The injectors are maxed out, they physically can't spray any more. The V-AFC won't help at all.

Mmm, nothing has happened since last Tuesday on the EMS front. AEM is working with us to get the car fixed and back on the dyno. The car is being taken apart today to confirm the suspected problem.

I'll probably throw on the pulley sometime in June, and if the EMS is up and running I'll be able to run enough fuel to keep it safe...without intercooling. In the long run I will want to intercool it, and then I won't have to run as much fuel. It's just a money issue, gotta save up some cash first. The pulley at $85 is cheap enough to do now and run for a few months before I do the intercooler.

Sounds good, I hear you on the $$ thing. SC, exhaust, VAFC, coilovers and that's in the last 2 months...

I'd like to get more boost with a smaller pulley, but I'm waiting for you and Randy to get it all figured out. Hopefully with my stock ECU and I guess I'll have to intercool and maybe get bigger injectors

Randy gave me his pulley size, but I don't know if he wants me publishing it...no idea if it's supposed to be "secret"; maybe it was posted in another thread - but I'll just play it safe.

ok, I know I have seen it in his thread, cause the size is written right on the pulley...I'll go look up the thread.

Thanks Wes
