FOR SC owners
I was wondering for all the ownes with SUpercharged S2000, if you use a basic exhaust bolt on like HKS or tanabe with your SC
or you have custom piping done with exhaust, because I always wondered if you needed larger piping with a SC.

Don't waste your money on extra bolt ons... All of my extra mods (exhaust, headers, ProFlow TB, Extrude/Hone intake manifold, BYS straight pipe (no cat), Mugen ECU)... didn't give me more peak HP than someone with a stock car + SC...
Get an exhaust for the sound... that's it. The SC overshadows all other mods. Sure my HP curve is extremely linear and I have a bit more low end torque... but it wasn't worth all the extra money.

Shaner and Tiberius said exactly what I think and have read many times on this forum. I installed the RMRacing exhaust right after I got the S. It sounds great. It sounds faster. However, I don't think it made the car any faster.
There are no such thoughts about the SC. The difference is immediately obvious. At low rpm it does have a distinct sound. Once you hit VTEC, the noise from the engine compartment - probably air rushing in - takes over. As I've said before, I'm just thinking I've broke the sound barrier and left all that exhaust noise behind

I purchased their exhaust SOLELY for the sound...

I don't know about all this +10 hp stuff:
I have the Comptech exhaust, PFlow TB bore, Mugen headers, no catalyst... and my max HP ever is 285. Maybe I should dyno with the stock ECU and catalytic converter and see if that helps...
