Can any of the old timers let us know how long they've lasted for?
I find it helps to put the charger on it if not driven for a week or so.

I just bought one of the Braille batteries from Jegs.com
I think I paid $160 with shipping. Its a few pounds lighter than the Oddyssey and more cold cranking amps. I think it has around 400 CCA. The thing is small. 11.5 pounds.
They have them at Tire Rack too with carbon fiber bling jackets, but they costy $50 more.

Well, I don't think Odyssey batteries last as long 'cause they are not made to be used in cars.
I bought a smaller hawker for the race car (PC545 IIRC)

at Jegs. They have an 11.5 pound with 360 CCA, and a 15 pound with 430 CCA.

so thats 6 years on the same battery. STFU those of you who said they don't last I should add tho that if I leave the car for more than a week it does need to be jumped. I just have a jump pack that I keep in my garage. After 15 minutes of driving the car is good to start on its own.
