I bought the battery 7/20/2001 and it is still going strong, as well it should. I don't think I have left car unstarted for more than a week and I don't have an alarm, so ymmv.

that's the one I was talking about. Friend was recommended by other friends to run it in his e30 race car. Several other e30's run it in the racing club and have no problems with it. Does anyone know the weight of the spoon battery?

there should be no problems. The battery supplies power for starting. That's mainly where you need the juice, other than those huge stereo systems running several amps that suck up lots of current when the car is turned off.

$10.70/per lb weight savings doesnt sound that good neither i can probably loose 10 lbs in about 2 weeks by starving myself and i get to save $ on food..

Would the 625 be better than the 680? More CCAs, 2 lbs less?

Sideways, yeah it looks like it might.

Not positive that the difference is.

Trudging through all the notes and fine print, it looks like the 625 is not available with automotive terminals. Only the 680, 925 and higher are.

Hmmm, I thought the battery was PC545 in Al's car. So is the one in mine. PC545 is the model that NSX guys use.

My Odyssey battery died on me after I hadn't driven the car for more than 10 days. Just FYI. I don't have an alarm or aftermarket stereo system.
