Sandwich Plate Adapter

Sandwich Plate Adapter
Wondering if anyone has installed one of these. It makes it easier to run an oil pressure guage. Anyways, I tried to put my one today, no directions since it is in Japanese. One side of the adapter has O-rings on side doesnt. I tried to do the o-ring side to the block first and the oil filter leaked where it was screwed onto the side without the o-rings. The second time I flipped it and it leaked at the oil filter again but this time the O-rings were towards the oil filter.
The only think I could think of was to take the washers off the oil filter??
Any suggestions let me know.

The oil filter has an o-ring. You can sometimes lose this when reusing an old oil filter. I suggest using a new one.
The sandwich goes O-ring to block and the filter's o-ring to the outside of the sandwich adapter. Put a bit of oil on the o-ring before you tighten to ensure the they don't bind to the surface.

Thats what I did the first time and it was leaking from the Oil Filter. Next Time I will put it up on the lift and put it on.
I thought I was doing it right the first time. Thanks man,

You shouldn't have any leaks if you install it as AusS2000 suggests. The O-ring mounts flush with the block, and the filter has its own gasket or O-ring. Plenty of folks here use a sandwich adapter without any problems.
I have had a take-off adapter installed on my car for about 4 years, and have never had a leak.
