If your car isnt lowered...you can easily change the oil without jacking the car up.
I have an aftermarket intake so I jsut stick my arm down and loosen the drain plug.....and the oil filter is right there as well.

If you're really just concerned about safety, you can always use the actual jack as a third source of support along with the 2 stands. There is no reason to have the entire car lifted off the ground to just change the oil.

Always:
chock the wheels
use two jack stands
keep the jack under the car with light pressure
keep a wheel under a point of the chassis where it will catch so that if the car were to fall, the chassis would land on the wheel and at least buy you some time.

If the ground is level, the car will not roll back no matter how far it's jacked up. Forceof gravity doesn't tilt with the car.
As others have said, I would still recommend wheel chocks though in case the driveway is slightly inclined/declined. Also, put the wheels under the car for additional safety.

have you ever jacked a car up before?
The car sliding off the jack because of the contact point between the car and the jack not being totally flat.
Ground being inclined.
People bumping into it.
But yeah, I still put wheel chocks and be safe.
