S2k Newbie.. Couple Questions..
I just recently purchased an '02 S2k about 2 months ago and I absolutely LOVE it.! It's my first time buying a sports car that's a convertible so I have a couple questions....
1.) Since it's a convertible, Do I have to put oil on my top to resist rain or anything??
2.) I hear a squeeky noise.. sounds like it's my breaks or coming from somewhere around the wheel area, but im not too sure... Everytime I go over a bump i hear it.. What should I do?? Any suggestions??
3.) Maintenance: As far as gas, I know this car requires only Premium gas.. but is there anything else I need to know that's important besides the regular routine maintenance such as oil change, checking tranny fluid, breaks & etc???
THANKS!

1) Use Raggtop. You can get it from Modifry
2) Could be the hood latch. Try white lithium grease and/or adjust the rubber bumpers
3) Check the faqs and search. Here are some searches to get you started - retainers, burning Mobil 1, skip shift, CRV diff fluid, top burrs.

You can also use 303 Protectant on the top, dash and doors. You can get it boating or RV stores.
Make sure to check your oil every fill up. S2000s have a tendency to burn oil, so keep an eye on the level.
You mentioned that your car is a 2002. It probably wouldnt hurt to change the transmission and differential fluids. Make sure that you get a fluid that meets the specs for the differential. Most people use Mobil 1 75W90. You can use any 75W90 as long as it is GL5. It will say so on the label on the back of the bottle. For the transmission, many people have had good success with the new Honda Manual Tansmission Fluid that you can get at the dealer. Be aware that most dealerships do not stock a fluid for the rear differential. If you get the work done there or buy fluids there, don't let them put in or sell you the fluid for the CRV differential.
If you plan on doing any of the work yourself, you can find some really good DIY posts in the stickies of this forum.
