Default S2000CR rear sagging- OEM springs

Hi guys,

Fortunate enough to recently purchase a CR to sit alongside my 05. After driving it around "enthusiastically" i noticed that on larger dips / bumps at speed, i hear a scrape/rub noise coming from the driver side rear. I first I thought it was the little plastic tab in front on the rear wheel hitting the pavement, but that seemed unlikely given how high off the ground it is. Then i realized that the rear wheel clearance from the fender is way smaller than my stock 05. we are talking like 2 finger widths.

I removed the wheel and confirmed that the shocks and springs are all OEM CR parts with the appropriate spring markings etc etc. Any thoughts on why it would be riding that low without lowering springs or coil overs? I'm out of ideas...

Tires are stock sizes 255 40 R17, no spacers on the wheel either, and haven't found a 50kg brick of coke sitting in the trunk

Thanks!

Do you see any rub marks inside the wheel well, the rear wheels are tucked in so much they shouldn't hit anything even if compressed enough ?.

Two-finger gap is similar to a lowered ride height. That would be a lot of sag for the stock suspension. No idea how or why ?
