Honda MTF. Cheap and readily available.

Syncromesh is a decent alternative.

That's the first time I'd seen that bottle. 75W90 is differential oil. Honda dont sell diff fluids. YOU DO NOT WANT TO PUT THAT IN YOUR TRANSMISSION. wtf, how the heck does a honda service tech told you to use that. You should talk to the service manager and have those people retrain.

This is the shit you want.
Thanks for everyones help , i went to the dealer today again, and asked about that green labled transmission fluid, they said they dont have those and they told me that, that green lable is for hybrid... what the ...-_- im soo confused and even quoted me " the green lable is for hyprid, get it? green = better environment " Im from vancouver canada by the way, and i asked for a spec sheet fluid for s2000 and they gave me this sheet

now here im noticing somthing, the transmission bottle number here matches the the spec sheet above...

this one is the one they recommended to me today,

this one also have the same number code as the green bottle lable and the above spec sheet

hmm any thoughts on this part? are they the same bottle, just different color lable?

Dude, I didn't know you where in Canada. That does look like the correct MTF. As far as rear diff fluid I used the Mobile 1 75- 90 GL5. You can find it at most auto parts stores.

Hopefully someone from Canada can chime in or post up in the local chapter and see if anyone knows.

Lubricants are usually sourced locally by the sales/service organization so they will not be exactly the same from one country to another.

I use Amsoil 75-90 MTG GL-4 fluid in the tranny (essentially a 5~10W-40 motor oil) and Amsoil 75W-110 in the diff. Changed approximately 1 month ago from the factory fill. Liking it so far. I live in Guam, it is HOT all damn year, so I wanted something with a little more strength to combat the heat.

Yeah, all the bottles in Canada are black. Same stuff though.

Do yourself a favor and stop going to this dealer.
