Default s2000 sitting for 3 years

Ok s2ki, I haven't been on this website for literally years. I have problems and I'm about to get a shit load of negative feedback but my s2k needs your help.

I have a 2001 ap1.

Back when I was 18 I was reckless and made some stupid decisions, and ended up blowing my engine.
I had the car towed to my family's back yard down in SC then moved out of state. That was in 2010, and it is now 2013 and the car is paid off and I make enough money to dump into the car.

It is sunken into the dirt about 3 inches, the engine is blown, the side fender is completely bent in, the top is in 0/10 condition, headlights/ taillights need COMPLETE restoration, it doesn't go into reverse, brakes are shot, needs a completely new paint job, over rall 4/10 just because it is not a total loss, as no s2000 is.

Not only I plan on fully restoring this beauty, I plan on adding a Greddy turbo kit and many extras. I will provide pictures and post pictures of its current condition tomorrow.

tl;dr
What basics other then fuel pump/ brakes/ engine, do I need to get the car running again after its been sitting for 3 years?

There is no way to guess about everything that could be wrong. I'd start with a new motor and go from there. I can't wait for the pics!

American picker style? Sounds to me like its done brotha.... you can find yourself one around that year for 10ish. From your quick details it seems like more then 10k and alot of man hours... but its your money and time.

without pics, theres really no telling what its going to need...from your description, it sounds like a complete lost and you might be better off just buying another one...you can find low mileage AP1's for good prices

Your biggest challenge will be dealing with broken down fuel and it's effects on the entire system, the fuel tank being the number one factor.
