Default s2000 normal engine sound?

Man i havent even been able to enjoy this car yet bc i keep finding stuff that may be wrong. Maybe im just being paranoid. The car is making a slight ticking above the valve cover. Here is a video you can hear it best around 30 seconds in. sorry i had my hand on the microphone for a few seconds. Is that typical s2000 engine noise? Its definitely not tct

It sounds loudest right around the fuel rail, so it may just be normal fuel injector noise, but somebody may chime in to correct me on that. Btw, your oil dipstick is backwards

sounds similar to my ap1 with 90k on the clock...It probably woudlnt hurt to do a valve adjustment and run some good quality injector cleaner in the fuel system to ensure shes running smoothly

Redline SI-1, Chevron Techron, or even Gumout Regane. These cleaners have ample amount of PEA content.

Honda's have LOUD injectors. Some click more than others even on the same engine. That's all normal noise to me. If you really want to track it down, stick a long screwdriver handle to your ear and touch each injector.

I dont hear anything funny.

Some people put the dipstick in backwards on purpose. It stops it from popping out.
