S2000 noise at 2-3000 rpm on deceleration

The dealer I bought the car from has today said he will supply all parts FOC to replace the clutch, so that's a bit of a result. Looks like I'll be doing a clutch replacement in the near future. I've done plenty of clutches on front wheel drive cars before but never on a rear wheel drive, however, I do have a manual for assistance but any advice would be much appreciated.

+1000 for clutch buzz. my second s2k has a little less but who knows it may grow. Best way to get rid of it is a 70mm single exhaust and a 70mm test pipe to match, then you'll be asking yourself if it ever buzzed at all

Yeah, anything to bring on loss of hearing will help. A later model clutch friction disk will fix the problem... many of us with 2000 - 2001 went for a new clutch early because of the noise.
