What RPM are you noticing the problem?

It's very rare to have injector problems on a vehicle, especially one so new with so few miles.

What kind of trouble (how bad)? Do you get a Check Engine light or other malfunction indicator? What octane fuel do you put in the vehicle?

Is the car warmed up when you have this problem?

I've encountered something that may be an injector problem. When I leave work I like to leave quick and while I'm punching down the gas in 2nd gear the engine will suddenly rev down and my speed will drop. The first time it happened I was startled and I let off of the gas. Now I know when it's going to happen and have kept the gas pedal steady. It happens around 6500rpm and I've only noticed it in 2nd gear. The revs drop down a couple thousand rpm and my speed drops from about 55 or so to 40. I've got 3600 miles on the car and was going to mention this to Honda when I took it in for a oil change. Any ideas?

Injector problems are rare with such a new car as Marcucci pointed out. However, it can happen and it happened to me on a new 93 Civic that I had. Brand new about 3000 miles and an injector went out. They replaced it and had no mechanical problems for 127,000 more miles. Then I sadly sold it.

Good luck,

Jose

jyce, perhaps this is the "hesitation" problem that many owners seem to experience (including myself). Does it usually happen in constant stop-and-go driving, especially when your running the air-conditioner (engine bay running hot)?
