Default S2000 having a clutch problem

My car got into a small wreck not too long ago and after that about 3-4 months later the car started smelling like burnt clutch. One time it was so strong it was reaking of the smell even with the top down. Does anyone know whats going on with my car and why it smells. Now it only smells faintly and I always drive normal and easy. Also the clutch for one moment had a slight wobble when engaging the trans. I dont know how bad this is but every since I have cut down on driving it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of accident? Where was the hit and what was the damage? Did they have to do something to the tranny? Was the clutch master or slave cylinders involved? It may be only coincidental that the clutch is doing this and is independent of the accident.

ps. Your title needs to be more descriptive to aid in future searches and to target the right viewer. I'll edit it a bit for you.

A wild guess, your clutch is on it's way out. From what you wrote, I won't even ask how many miles are on your clutch.

The car has 23k on it and the accidet was not that bad. A motorcycle hit my car on the side fron bumper and broke the motor mounts so the transmission was rough. My question is that is it ever common for this tye of this to happen? My car still smells only slightly now. Also I know nothing about the extent of the mechnical damage but I know that it was approx 6000 dollars worth of damage. Any help would b appreciated.

One of the ways I can see that this sort of collision would affect the clutch would be if the hydraulics was somehow damaged and you don't seem to know if this happened. Damaged clutch hydraulics would make it such that the clutch may not operate in its full range of motion and it could have a severe slip. Your description of this clutch "wobble" is vague and I can only assume that you feel a pulsation in the pedal when you have your foot on it. Is this correct? If so, then this may be an indication that the clutch plates have been subjected to uneven wear and heating as might be witnessed by the smell.
Lastly, do you know what burnt clutch smell like? Maybe it's not the clutch you smell. Could this be a possibility?

It sounds to me like your flywheel, pressure plate, and friction disk are warped due to slippage. Did you check your mileage before and after getting it fixed? I wouldn't be surprised if one of the shop employees went joy riding, and burned up the clutch.
