s2000 convertible top switch doesn't work
Hi
I have a 2000 Honda s2000 and my convertible top switch doesn't work. When I push it (either way) nothing happens. Any suggestions on what might be wrong?
Thank you!

^yeah make sure the handbrake is up. I made the mistake of that when I went to look at the s2k I ended up buying. The car looked great and the price was right for the mileage and when I got in and tried to put the top down I figured that must be why the price was as low as it was....turns out I'm just an idiot and didn't have the handbrake up
has it ever worked?
has it ever worked?

My convertible top switch has always worked before.. strangely enough, my right window also stopped working before this but the mechanic could figure out what was wrong with it.. the button.. but he can't figure out why the convertible top switch won't work. My brother checked out the fuses and they were fine.

Is the 'brake' indicator on the dash illuminating when you pull the brake up? The switch under the handbrake drives this indicator AND the top operation. If no indicator, you have a bad switch, or bad wiring to the switch.
