Ragtop-
The OE disc I removed was too worn, dark brown burnt and glazed looking to tell, but if the manufacturer (ACT) says it's not upgraded, then it must not be upgraded. I had read the bottom footnote about "Hybrid" having copper particles and remembered clearly seeing those particles when the disc arrived. Looked up the pictured and saw the copper strands. - My mistake -

I hate my clutch..okay.. i do drive it hard..but..my car has only 5000 miles on it.. i am planning to bring it in..but i just wanted to know if everyone is experiencing the same problems i am having.. 1. a slight grind in 1st and 2nd
2. when pushed hard doesn't seem like the power is being put to the wheels.
3. if you try to pop the clutch (at the strip) you get nothing but engine wine and a BBQ clutch smell.
is this normal or am i an unlucky one. my brother has one and his is relatively new.. but you could feel the difference.. his picks up a lot smoother and the transmission has no grind. i havent pushed it hard because his only has like 500 miles.. oh ..one more thing..this is probably a stupid question..but what is "TSB"??
Thanx i appreciate the input.

Quick note...if anyone is looking for an ACT clutch, I'd be glad to offer a 20% discount.
And yes, I've learned the hard way that the ACT disc is a factory disc with no modifications from ACT. The pressure plate is where the huge differences are felt (although the pressure plate is also a factory part, but reworked by ACT). The ACT pressure plate has offered the largest gains of clamping force that I've seen among aftermarket manufacturers, thats why I sell them...
