Default S2000 Central locking

Hello I've just bought myself a 1999 S2000 AP1.

I'm having issues with the central locking, the lights flash and the boot opens but the car won't lock or unlock Any ideas what it may be?

Thanks

Just happened to me: driver side is unresponsive, but passenger door locks/unlocks, trunk works, lights/horn flash correctly. Locking driver door manually also correctly triggers passenger lock. Replaced driver lock assembly, lock actuator assembly, and wireless receiver -- no luck, exact same behavior. Checked fuses everywhere, all good. Troubleshooting steps in the manual seem to point to a fault in the wire harness, but it looks near-pristine and is well-protected throughout its route, so I'm leery about replacing it too (part's discontinued anyway, not sure I could even do it). Finally gave up, just locking car manually now.

Let us know what you find...

James187 - Does the passenger door unlock on the second press? Or neither work no matter how many times you press the button?

Twohoos - Can you check the pin on the keyless unit to see if it is supplying power? Place positive probe in Pin 7 (Yellow/Green wire) and negative probe in Pin 6 (Pink/Black).
It should be 12V when Unlock is pressed on the Key Fob, and -12V when Lock is pressed.
