My only premature failure occured on a SC'ed Civic coupe. +1 on USDM-the warranty on this system is covered for several years after the original warranty.
This high-flow cat is a tiny bit different from other Hondas...

The OEM cat allready is pretty high flow with a metal foil thickness of only 0.05mm.
When I suggested going aftermarket, it was for the cost savings as opposed to the performance benefits of an aftermarket high-flow cat.
