Rust plate Bolt Removal - New To Me S2K
Hi all,
Just got my new-to-me s2k home and I have to get a couple of rusty/siezed bolts out of the rear plate holder... they just spin, because of the bolt rusted to the back of the screw....and im trying to minimize damage while removing them...
What would be the best way to do this without causing damage to the plastic?
please see pic...

Thanks for any help....

Drill, like he said. But watch out you don't heat the metal up so much it starts to melt the plastic. Use a sharp drill bit, less heat that way.

Heh, I can't help but chuckle a bit. That is nothing compared to a CRX and having to use a hole saw to drill into the back of frame rails to install a traction bar or into the hatch to remove upper control arm weld nuts.
AFAIK the plates mount with nut clips. I would try the dremel method
