Hmm....it's so hard to say without actually being there what could be your issue since you're sure the adjustment was done on a cool engine and done properly.

might let the engine sit for more than a couple hours. takes a while for the engine to completely cool.

For those speaking about letting the car cool down it may be good to know that so long as the cylinder head is below 100°F the adjustment can take place. I always check with an infrared thermometer before getting in to adjusting things. Also...Just to make sure, you did each cylinder while the valves were all the way up...correct? You would have had to rotate the crank pulley numerous times to have the adjustment take place properly.

Everything plugged back in?
All lines going to the correct place?

Out of curiosity, what was the need for the adjustment in the first place and did it run ok before hand?

I'm about to pull it back apart. FROTH.....I followed the instructions on the blog and as it said each cylinder is 180' from the previous. So I rotated the cylinders so the cams were outboard ( \ / ) and did 1, 4, 3, 2, was it all correct?

Get a hold of a code scanner to see if there are any new codes. You're problem may be with your ignition system.

Welp we re-did the valves and let it warm up. It runs a little better but sounds like its missing or some timing is off.

The CEL was on and "blinking" so I cut it off and reset the battery. Doesn't blink anymore so I am going to code it tomorrow.

Will update when I have more thank you all for the input.
