So lets say your doing some remote canyon carving and your not payong attention and you start to run out of gas in vtec. How bad would this be and how do you check everything is ok?

^

I have nothing useful to add.

Did "your friend" RUN OUT or was close (spitting and sputtering)

vtec being in to me wouldn't be effected by gas...since it's operated by Oil Pressure.....but you could have sucked up a bunch of junk with an empty tank.

Again Im 1/2 and no Honda Tech.

Out of gas = Engine dies. No issues.

there can be issues if it sucked up all the particles in the bottom of the tank
