Rubber piece between my spring in the rear left

Default Rubber piece between my spring in the rear left

I just changed my rims and noticed that there is a rubber piece bettween my rear right spring is this supposd to be there???

i believe that is a spring spacer which is supposed to be taken out by the dealer on delivery...

is that bad for the car if i take it out know...did it do any damage since my car has 28K on it

Whoa, that means you've had it in there for a long time. You're in for a surprise when you experience wha the suspension is really supposed to feel like.

Geez, it amazes me at how many of these the dealerships screw up.

Honda needs a huge sign - "Did you check for spring spacers before releasing to the Customer?"


They are lucky you didn't crash the car!

No it didn't do any damage, although it alters the way the car handles, and not in a good way. You can remove them yourself or you can go bitch out your dealer for not following Honda's pre-delivery checklist as they're supposed to do and make them do it.

While you're at it, check the other 3 springs for them too. There are a total of 14 (I think) of them on the car from the factory. The dealer might have missed more than one.

i found 5 all around just know, all have been removed... it looks as if my car got lower
