Default RPM's Dropping when just completed a stop

It is hard to repeat the problem I am experiencing, but when I am driving and come to a complete stop, the RMP's drop way below 1000 and feels as if the car is going to stall and then goes back up to 1000rpm's or right below it and idles just fine. It only occurs when I make stops wether or not they be hard stops or gradial stops.

Not sure what could be causing it. I thought Low fuel, but I filled the tank up and the problem still occurred.

If anyone has any information, I would greatly appreciate it.

It about 60 or so in Michigan right now and when I pulled into the bank today, car was warm, and when I came to a stop, the RPM's just dropped and then went back up. Only occures when I come to a complete stop. It's weird.

It's normal. I have an '02 with 13K miles on it, and it does it pretty regularly. There have also been several threads on it.

It happened to me just after installing a CAI. Try disconnecting your battery for a few minutes to reset the ECU. The RPMs will drop again for the first few times you use the car, but I believe it is only the ECU trying to readjust itself.

This happens to my car a lot too. More so when it's warmer. So is the concensus that this is normal for our cars??? Anyone got any official answers or taken their car to the dealer for this problem??

I too have this problem on my 2002 and experienced this problem a few times on my 2001.

Almost every time its happened, the weather has been very hot. Not sure if there's any correlation that can be drawn from that but...
