So I should try putting in new injectors? the injectors in there are currently the stock ones . . . but if they're that old, wouldn't they be clogged, as opposed to dumping too much fuel?

could this cause trouble with the idle? to the point where it would stall out?

All I can think to do now is change the injectors and get a valve adjustment

I had the same problem. Did a valve adjustment, a MAP tap, cleaned the AIC, etc. I just accepted it as part of the S2000 functioning after awhile because I have read about it happening to so many other owners. Doesn't have all the time, about 10-20%, so I said whatever.

No, they're not. The F20C that AP1s use has a smaller cylinder.
Nope. AP1's & 2's have the same cylinder bore size. The increased stroke is what changed the displacement.

May be a vacuum leak.

Check for cracked hoses around intake manifold.

Umm, what? I'm pretty positive the injectors are the same from MY00-05.

But yes, I agree... if you've done everything else, it could be an injector issue. I know that ended up being the problem with mine.
The injectors from MY00-05 are the same part number as per San Leandro online parts catalogue.

Ok . . . so the problem is now persisting

It doesn't do it everytime I drive though . . . today when I drove to school, didn't do it at all, when I drove home from class, car stalled out everytime I went to neutral

car drives fine when i'm in gear, giving it gas

no problem in accel or decel in gear

Should I try injectors? I've checked all around the IM and can't find any cracked hoses at all

Check your plugs asap!! Hell replace them while you are at it, and make sure they are troqued down to factory spec.

Weird. I have pretty much the same thing going on. Just only has stalled like 2-3 times. Usually just does a little stutter at idle when coming to a stop and then back up to the correct idle and sometimes drops a little bit again once in a while.
Done MAP whack, clean IAC, changed plugs. Still happens some time. Going to try and clean the throttle body when I get a chance and see if that helps things out.
