No I haven't tried the MT-90 yet mainly because of the change interval. I faced the same issue with the GM Synchromesh. The synchromesh also felt like it felll apart when in a track or canyon run type of driving situation. Perhaps I will try the MT-90 this time since I can pick it up locally.

I change mine every 5-7.5K or sooner if I think the fluid has a short life. Honda says 30K, use your own discretion.

That was my same observation on the Royal Purple Transmission Fluid.

It was silky smooth in the beginning, but wore off quickly. I switched out all my fluids to Royal Purple before the S2KDay's '01 trip of 4k miles. After averaging 96mph on the way up to Knoxville, and 99mph on the way back to Houston, the tranny felt very notchy again. I had it changed out as soon as I got back home. I switched back to Honda MTL, since I can't really tell the difference between the RP and OEM when the fluids are both new.

I did switch to new Honda MTF once, and it reduced the grinding, but didn't eliminate it.

Correct. And some small traces of glucose, sodium, liver by products that give a yellow to darker urine sample and some small # of bacteria...
