Default Rough running on warm startup

Hi,

Got a problem with my S2K...

The scenario:
- Drive from A to B - enough time for full warm up.
- Leave car standing on carpark for 10-30 minutes.
- start engine
Then...
- engine fires up fine
- engine idle revs irregular
- lack of any power (revs seem ok)
- if i get any power - up to 4k revs, the revs will die off irrespective of accelerator position.
- problem resolves itself after about 1 minute and car performs normal thereafter.

Other info...
- It does not happen after a short stop, ie petrol stop
- It does not happen if left for over half an hour
- No dashboard warning lights
- No engine fault codes - been into dealer 3 times in 4 weeks
-- new MAP sensor
-- new coil pack
-- no error codes found
-- no further suggestions! Theyre now consulting Honda UK

I could not find this anywhere else on this forum, anyone else seen this or got any clues?

Next step, I would target the Idle Air Control mechanism. There are sensors here and a solenoid which has been known to act up. Those coolant lines on the side of the intake manifold get very HOT when the car sits after getting up to operating temps. The temp sensor may be acting up and is not able to resolve what it detects. Even if it does read it right and sends the right signal to the ECU, the IAC solenoid may not be able to respond to the ECU's instructions to open or close when needed.
You could also have a hot fuel issue (possible vapour lock in the fuel line somewhere) or fuel pressure issue related to the heat generated after sitting for a while. Fuel pressure good? Fuel injectors in need of a bit of cleaning?
Furthermore, I would hope that the dealer has looked at the more typical causes like air filter, dirty throttle body and other fairly routine things in their diagnosis.
