Default Rough response for the rear of the car

When going over a small to medium sized unavoidable bump in the road the rear of my 04 reacts very harshly to the sudden imput. is there something that is common of these cars taht teh rear would be so bone jaring? i drove an 07 and it didnt seem to feel that way.

I've got the same issue. Are you lowered? I've to got change my springs and setup in general and I think that will fix the ride.

I thought they softened up the rear when they went from an ap1 to an ap2. They might have just softened it up a bit more in the 06-07s, but I am just speculating.

you are right from ap1 to ap2, but like someone on here called it the ap2.5(06-07) i havent seen any reported changes in spring rate or dampener changes. although the rear dampeners sounded more like a tokico blue on the 07 vs mine sound more like a koni when you hit a bump.
