having too loose or tight valves will still let the car drive just fine. i would have your valves checked. should be an easy fix but check and adjust them after the car has sat over night.

If you decide on the valve adjustment, I think the only part you will have to get would be a new gasket for the valve cover. The price for the adjustment would depend on the dealer's per hour charge for the labor. I think the gasket runs around $30.00 but check with the parts department. Also, I had to leave the car overnight so the mechanic could work on a stone cold engine.

seeing as you have new plugs, injectors, coil and its only number 1. only other thing would be wiring issue. like a chewed up wire to the coil or injectors. you can check the 1st coil for spark and if there is your ok. than check the number 1 injector with a noid test light. if all that passes than its most like your valves. usually you get a lean/rich code if all the valves are out of adjustment
