Rough Idle/Stalling
#22
Now that the idle air control valve, map sensor, resetting of the ecu etc hasn't cured the car, I am letting the dealership do a valve adjustment if this doesn't fix it I will kill myself and it's not even my car lol

Idle is normal 800-900 when the car sits no revs even with the ac on, it's when you give it any amount if throttle that it struggles. Throttle cable was checked by a Honda technician yesterday

My boy got the car back today, intake valves were fine, exhaust were overly tightened...not sure from what but after that was done the car drives and idles like a dream as smooth as my 06!

That means a VA has been done before, if the techs did it right this time.
From the factory, after break in (few hundred miles):
Intakes usually sit at .010-.012. Slightly on the loose side.
Exhausts usually sit at .011-.013, slightly loose.
I have never found a tight exhaust valve in 7 years and hundreds of cars.
