rough idle/ stall?
Ive been having an idle issue for the past 2 week right after i installed an invidia catback exhaust, the car stalls at every stop, tried the map wack and cleaned the iacv and changed my driving habbits but to no avail, i did notice that whenever the cooling fans are on it idles smoothly but as soon as they shut off the rough idle comes back or maybe even stall... anyone have a solution or an idea as to what my problem may be?

even though you cleaned it, it sounds like an iacv problem. Did you happen to disconnect the battery after you did these things? The RPMs are supposed to raise when an accessory is turned on to compensate for the extra load. Try resetting the ecu first.

I did reset the ecu but noticed that it works while the car is cool but once its warmed up, problem comes back, i was thinking i have air trapped in my cooling system?

I'm having identical issues. cleaning the iacv valve helped once, but it came back. cleaned a second time and it's a little better. Map whacked both times too. I now have a new valve on order, as I can't afford to miss work bc of a dangerous car. If this doesn't fix it then I'm out of ideas too.
I also used a fuel system cleaner too after each iacv clean. that's about the only thing different I did compared to you.
I never realized how hard it is to drive without the ability to idle lol.
summary: bump for what else could cause this issue.

I put in a fuel cleaner and a new map sensor but nothing, headlights on still make it idle smoothly for a while but then back to the rough idle but less stalls. Could it need an idle relearn proceedure? Ill try it this afternoon and post results...

I had this problem until i found there is a set screw on the throttle body to adjust the idle. IIRC it was a 7mm set bolt on a 2.5mm alan head screw on the side of the throttle body. It only needed adjusted ever so slightly. I didnt actually raise the idle, it still idles at between 800-900 rpm when warm but it doesnt stall anymore. Its like they just need a slight adjustment so the throttle body doesnt fully close and stall it.

I also had a similar problem. Corrected it by cleaning the IACV, MAP and TPS sensors with carb cleaner. Also cleaned throttle body itself. 3k miles and still no more problems!
