rotor screw

rotor screw
what would i use to take them out. unscrewing them only strips them. do i need a spedcial tool. like an attachment. i have an impact wrench.
new rotors comes with their own screws so i doesnt matter if i destroy them i guess.
any help appreciated

impact driver will do the trick. there's a few other tricks too, but the driver is the simplest. you can find it at any home depot or the like. if you've never seen one, it's essentially a screw driver that turns when it's hit on top with a mallet.

As stated by others an impact driver is the appropriate tool to remove these screws. If you strip it, drill the head off and see if you can remove the rest of the screw once the rotor is removed
But don't sweat it. These screws are actually unnecessary in the big scheme of things. It keeps the rotor in place when you mount your tires, but if there was no screw there at all, it wouldn't do any harm. Your wheel pushes the rotor in, so once the wheel is mounted, those little screws don't do anything.

I had the same problem recently. Stripped the phillips screw and warped the impact driver's driver bit. Ended up drilling a big slot in the head and using the biggest slot bit on the impact driver to finally get them out. Keep trying, it'll eventually come out.

Lubing with some penetrating oil and let sit for a few minutes before using the impact driver with a HEAVY hammer helps.
haven't yet met a rusted bolt i couldn't get out after i torched it
