Default Rod knock or loud valves?

I was doing some hard driving last night in the mountains. After the majority of it was done and I was cruising I noticed that my motor was a little louder than normal. Normally I can hear the valves ticking but this sounded a little different. I had checked my oil prior to leaving and it was filled to the top so I am hesitant to think rod knock but I suppose there may have been some starvation during some of the sweepers?

I've looked at youtube videos of rod knock for the s2000 and in comparison my car seem quieter. Car is a 2002 with 140k. I had learned that the previous owner had turbo'd the car. I would appreciate any guidance at all. If it is rod knock I'm hoping it's not too severely damaged...
I will probably adjust the valves tomorrow regardless to see if it helps..

Note: After I took the video I realized I could have just moved the throttle by hand..

To me it sounds more like this than rod knock

That some loud tick, check your valve clearance 1st. If that checks out you might have to pull the pan and replace the rod bearings.

That does not sound like a knock to me. More like valves.

Rods are good, that's a top end noise.

Valve adjust is where I'd start, possible chain/TCT noise there too...not the typical, but on it's way.

Thanks for all your replies! I'll do a valve adjustment tonight and report in. Probably not TCT noise since I have your gen-x Billman.

Think I found the culprit! Looks like the adjusting nut came off exhaust side cylinder #1!

I read another thread describing how to get the nut. Hopefully its at the bottom of my oil pan. I will drain my oil and hope it comes out. If it doesn't come out in the oil I'll have to drop the pan. Might as well get it baffled while I'm at it.

If I'm going to replace the nut is it a very special nut?

Yikes!

Considering where the nut is located in the engine, I would spend the couple bucks on a genuine Honda one.

Who adjusted the valves last?

Me

Was my first time doing it on the car about 15k ago so I'm not surprised.

Removed the windage tray with no success. Then as I was desperately poking around the head I put my screwdriver in this puddle. VICTORY!

This is so frightening because just to the right is the timing chain

Now time to put everything back together
