I found these images on the forums, you followed these recommendations? A lot of people have gone to flame spray or HVOF repairing of crankshaft journals, or just find a used or get a new crankshaft is also an option. Wish I could help on the oil flow question of the vtec solenoid you had but I'm not familiar enough with that, any images?

Every honda crank I've seen turned down, and try to be fixed has spun a bearing instantly.

Personally, if you trash a crank.... its trash, buy a used or new crank that has good journals.
