Try drop the bolts down, if I remember correctly they will only fit in one way.

Im pretty sure those holes in the rods give passage for oil to lubricate the cams at the three caps you have shown top middle. The rest of the smaller holes give passage for oil to lubricate the rockers. Maybe the inside of the barrel on the caps those rocker bars go through have a galley that would make sense to line up.

See how its crecent shaped it allows for the bolt to pass through but im not sure how it face

Opening towards each other < > like picture
Opening towards away from each other > <
Opening to one side >> facing exhaust << facing intake this is especially true for the end piece any ideas?

From your last picture it looks like they both face one way and u wouldn't be able to do anything different because the bolts slide half through them.

And It looks weird cause u have the bottom side showing but it looks like the top side of your rockers, may be totally wrong but re check that.

I think it's called torco mpz spray assembly lube or something like that, but you would love it for re assembly great stuff!

Lay it out long ways, caps should be numbered. 1 should be timing side. Can't tell from yours but from the holes it looks like they >> or << like I said can't tell which is cam cap 1 and correlate long ways from timing side to rear.

Edit: lol back again ok just looked at your first pic again. The two ends are pointing left so if the right side is cam cap 1 starting on the timing side and running back the bolt holes look like they configure the two rods facing EX. And your top middle three are just facing wrong way.

Ok, ya man just follow FSM, cam cap 1 through however many. The shafts only go one way to allow the bolt to fit. It must be looking at it. But don't let me tell ya I haven't torn this engine down yet, more like encouragement lol. It looks like that's how it would have to go tho. Soo. If all else fails, FSM.

There are grooves for oil in the rocker arms, the rocker shaft flute holes line up with the oil holes on the rockers cause otherwise they won't get oil. In other words don't focus on the crescent bits look at the oiling holes.
