Thumbs up Ringing at WOT?

Made an appointment with local dealer for wednesday evening to get car checked for a few things.

1. Drivers side window express down not working even when letting top down.

2. Grinds if I don't go in 5th before 6th.

3. 2nd gear grind with clutch fully engaged

4. Clutch rattle sound

5. At vtec tinging ringing noise coming from somewhere, sounds like from the
front

#5 is where I need you guys help. Sounds like maybe a loose not or washer or something. Has anyone ever had this and WTH is it. Almost makes me not want to go to vtec. <Yeah right Any help on this or others would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mrcln1

1. Fixable with new window regulator.
2. You shouldn't be skip shifting.
3. Try a change of clutch fluid and tranny fluid.
4. TSB for clutch "buzz".
5. Could be loose heat shield(s).

That ringing at transition is just the Vtec ring. It's a beautiful sound.

#5 may be a ringing shifter? Sometimes it's hard to tell where sounds are coming from.

TSB 02-046 (although for a different symptom) explains how to grease the shift lever and it's not to difficult to do. The grease dampens the ring (vibration).

You can also do a search within this forum and find more on this.
