Ringing noise under hood....?
i've got two similar sounds when i drive. It's not a happy sound.
It sounds like the pully under the alternator that sort of rings when you tap it and it's kind of a pleasant sound, but when I drive it's like somethings constantly tapping on it lightly. I can't really hear it with top up, but top down it's very noticable.
Also at higher RPMs it sounds like change jingling in a pocket.
EDIT: past 7k rpms
note: I don't notice any lack in performance, and everything else seems to be in working order, except for that silly ringing.
Car notes:
2000 ap1
New cylinder head installed at 98k miles
car currently has 107k
