Alright i guess i have no choice but to do an alignment. I wish i knew this would happen before i did my last alignment. I could have waited 2 more weeks lol.
aw man that sucks . you just had one done? I actually heard if you change rims and tires you didnt have to do an alignment. But I always figured the contact patch would be different once you got different size tires and that needed to be corrected.

Having run the G Force KDs I know what your problem is THE BFGS ARE VERY SKINNY FOR THEIR RATED SIZE!!!!!!

You won't notice it on the fronts very much, but the rears were over 1/2" narrower than the stock 16 inchers. I can only assume it's the same with the 18".

I learned my lesson so when I searched for my 265x35 18" tires I found over 2" difference between actual tread width between brands.

It's prolly the ROTA wheels. What you pay is what you get
not again, please keep the rota bashing to yourself.

I dont think its that though. it kinda feels like i have no rear strut bar or swaybar. Like i have no support to help me still.

What if i have blown shocks and struts, is that a possibility.?
you know it's hard to do this over the internet when you can't tell the different between sway bar from strut bar.

bring it to a shop, we can guess all day long and you'll never spot it even if it's starring at your face.

not trying to diss anyone but that's just my 2cents about this.

I know what a sturt bar and sway bar is. I was just stating that fact that it feels like i have no support from either or, causing the body to flex thus giving me the feeling of handling loss.

My real question is, how would i know if my struts are blown. I would imagine i would get bad handling with bad srtuts.

When I bought my car it had big 18" bling bling wheels on it and drove very much like you describe, very unstable and twichy, especially at higher speeds. I traded them for some stock 16's and it helped a lot, but it was far from right. I bought some struts off a 2005 S2000 and that solved my problems. The 16's may have been masking a problem that the new wheels could not so effectively cover up.

The tires will be greasy for ~ 200 miles so handling will feel funny. When you got you alignment what were your tire pressures? I bet you pressures were different from what you have now.
+1 for the "mold release." It's the greasy stuff on the tires to get it to slide out of the rubber casting mold. It can take a good 500-700 miles to get the tires to grip properly. Would imagine that would contribute to some shimmy and squirreliness. A bump and stick would turn into a bump and slide.
