Rims are on. Handling sux ass now.
So i guess you guys know i bought rota d2s 18x8 and 18x9. I wrapped them in 215/40 front and 255/35 rear, bfgoodrich gforce kdw 2 tires. I bought the tires and rims brand new and had honda put them on for me. Everything is good, no shakes or anything but for some reason, my car has the worst handling now.
For example, tonight on the highway, i felt like pushin the gas a little on a highway that i have traveled on many many times with the stock s2k 16 inch wheels. Now when i go on the same highway with the same speeds (100+), my car feels like its about to let the rear end go. Everytime i hit a bump, my rear end like zigzags like i have no suspension support. ALso seems like understeer or oversteer or whatnot increased by alot.
Now, is this because i have new tires, wider rims, bigger wheels, blown shocks, or what?
any help is appreciated.

alignment! I had the same issue... and it took 3 different shops across the country (i was moving.... ) and one fully scrubbed out set of rear tires before someone got it even close.

That is one, tire pressure is another.
I assume you bought the 18" for looks right? How do they look?
Now with 18" tires, the ride will be harsher. There is less cusion as there is less profile in the 18" tire.
OK, if you wanted a smoother ride, then you should have stayed with 16".
We know very little about the rest of your car setup, but assuming OEM for the rest, Alignment and pressure are at the top of the things to check list.
I assume you bought the 18" for looks right? How do they look?

couple things to be consider:
1)weight: you might at a tad more upsprung weight to the car, higher mass=harder to get rolling and harder to stop rolling.
2)tracking: compare the ET on the new wheel, you might added a bit of tracking to the front or rear, which effectively changing the handling. For example if you add alot of tracking in the rear, you'll get more understeer, vise versa for the front.
3)tire pressure: believe it or not, playing around the PSI can make a noticeable effect, what's working for one tire might not work for another. notice the sizewall also is stiffer with the low pro 18's
4)tire grip: assuming the new rubber is gripper, it will have more grip(obvious) in the cornering as well, meaning more body roll as well. This could be the reason why you think the handling has been changed.
of course there's ALOT more to it than this, but just keep it simple for now
