Thumbs up Right headlight starts dimming then turns off.?

My headlights were fine until today,
My right headlight shut off, then I turned it off then back on, it started to dim to orange then shuts off after a few minutes.

What is the problem?
What do i need to fix the problem?

Maybe a ballast? Maybe a bulb. You have to find that out. If you need a ballast, I have one for sale, BTW.

Try switching ballasts from side to side to see what happens. This will require you to remove the bumper and headlight assembly....which sucks...but...

it's a ballast it's overheating and shutting off that is y it will work for a little bit then shut off then u can turn it back on if it was a bulb it wouldn't work at all. or u have a loose wire or one that the plasitc has come off but easy way to test for that is to turn the headlights on while the car isn't moving if they shut off it's prob not a wire

If its not the ballast, I will bet $100 that its a relay. had two of em go bad...did the same thing you said they did: flicker, dim, or not go on at all...super spotty.

Switch the relays for the headlights from R->L, and L->R...monitor the situation, if the symptoms switch sides, its the relay.

The relay box IIRC, is on the passenger side under the hood..
