Default Ride Height Effect Brake Balance?

Hey guys, a few months ago, i read a thread where one guy had problems with his brake balance after he lowered his car - something about a ride height sensors by the rear wheels controlling brake balance. I dunno if this is true, but if it is, and i do decide to get adjustable shocks and springs, how would i go about in adjusting the brakes?

Thanks

brian

I think we determined the sensor was for the auto adjust headlights which the US cars don't have. All I know for sure is the US cars do not have the sensor.

I concur. The USDM cars do not have the autoleveling sensor or motor.

Anyone know how to adjust the brake balance anyway? I would like to know so that i can set up the car or wet/winter driving. Cheers.

the problem is not the ride height. what changes when you lower the car is the spring rates. If you have stiffer springs there will be less dive when you are braking.

less dive the better. it will have better stability, and you can control the car alot more.

otherwise, their should not be a problem with brake balance when it is lowered.

Just get a lowering kit, that has been used by other folk.
