Rick's JDM Sidemarkers
As I was putting on the JDM sidemarker on the passenger side, I had a problem getting the clip on the back to latch all the way. It seems now that a good amount of force was able to secure it, but I can still see just a tiny bit of the clip that doesn't seem to want to fit in.
How can I fix this? Is it possible to shave off just a fraction off of the end of the clip so that it will catch? Push the sidemarker with more force? (Don't want to break it though). A small piece of double-sided tape? Thanks!

did u put it in right? the blut side faces the front of the car and the tapered part faces the rear. No need to worry about water, the plug is grease capped, so its water proof.

I followed the instructions from Rick's website. The driver's side one went in just fine, but the passenger side one is being difficult. If it's sealed then I will try softening up the clip

I just went out and checked it and it secures, but the latch on the back side isn't catching all the way (I put them in right). I'm going to take it for a quick spin to see if they come loose at any speed...

Ok, so I finally diagnosed the problem. The sidemarker goes in flush, but the latch won't "latch" (if that makes any sense. It stays compressed instead of latching onto the sheet metal... any way I can reach through the wheel well or anything to make sure it latches?
