Reverse Mount Wheels
The sticker on the Volk RE30s indicates that it is a reverse mount wheel, which requires mounting the tire with the front of the wheel facing down. I've never ran into such wheels in my career as a technician. Does anyone know what the difference is and what will happen if I attempt to mount the tires using the traditional method?
Thanks in advance.

ye what slows2k said.. i think it has to do with the lowest point of the rim.. being on the other side.. and it helps with the removal and installation of the tires
most tire machines have different claps you can use to mount the the tire upside down

i think it has to do with whats called the "drop center" of the wheel. the drop center allows for the tire to be mounted without stretching the bead. it basically allows for the bead to be closer to the center of the wheel and the bead to bend down. its kinda hard to explain, much easier to demonstrate. also it helps eliminate any damage to the face of the wheel
