My thoughts exactly James hope I can get some cash back enough to buy parts to put it together right.
Lucky I keept the ap1 tranny I swapped out! Just sucks swapping it back in almost done the header is off and all the sensors, just need to drop the subframe and pull the tranny.
Just sucks so much time waisted swapping them its not hard for me just a pain in the but would much rather be installing the Vortech kit then fixing stuff that shouldn't be busted if people were honest....

My thought exactly Dwight have to handle a business transaction in a business way. Need to give respect to get it back and pointing fingers in public wont help me or him.

I'll bet the bolt that holds the reverse gear shaft holder (bolt is seen on outside of transmission) backed out, or was overtightened and broke. The gear came off its center, and normal use shaved the shaft holder apart until it let go.

Find the two bolts that hold the slave cylinder. From there go straight up a few inches, you'll find a single bolt with a 12mm head on it. Can you report the status of this bolt? missing, broken, loose, etc...

I didn't see any bolts missing on the case at all but it was leaking fluid from somewhere very slowly i bet it bolt snapped and glued or just stuck in there and sold after the "oh s**t" bolt snap moment but who knows
Fresh reverse parts from Honda, a good cleaning, and two runs of mtf in a short period should have it back to good as new I would think. Just sucks pulling it apart UGH its very very detail oriented work I find engine assembly to be much easier then a tranny.
I think ill swap the ap1 in and drive the car then ill rebuild the ap2 slow and put it back in once the summer is at an end

You may not see the bolt, it's just over a ledge on the trans. You can easily feel for it.
Number 1 route to fixing anything is finding underlying cause.
