Rev Range
Well here it goes my first post! Just curious to know, I bought my baby (2000 gpw) a couple of months ago certified from honda of Nanuet NY. Car came equipped with dc headers and stock the rest of the way down to the mufflers as far as exhaust goes, which seemed pretty odd to do, also the windshield frame has been color keyed white, which I also realize isnt stock either. However, my question here is, Im really qurious to know if my rear end is stock? What is the stock rev range for say 6th gear to know if the rear is stock or aftermarket? Basically, where should my motor be running @70 in 6th? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Your windshield is stock, someone simple removed the black tape that covers the windshield trim that makes it black. Some people like this look as it goes well with a color matching hardtop.
You can also have some fun and redline first, you should get to ~44 mph.
Oh and you might want to research DC headers. A lot of people have reported negative "gains" from them. They are lighter then stock though.

Thanks guys for the info, quite interesting with the tape around the windshield as it has puzzled me for some time as, I never thought of it to be, as an option when buying the car new. Dan, thats about where my motor runs too, so I guess my rear is stock!
Have fun and Redline first? If you only knew! Lol...
