Rev limiter engaging in 2nd @ 7-8k RPM's

Yikes okay someone told me early on that you just go with the higher reading on the stick. Thanks for telling me that. I'll probably go top it off right now. And to answer your question about the fuel pump yes the sock is on it, it's probably just the oil because I've been reading it wrong all this time.

Lowest is correct. Nothing showing is lower even so, I'd check till i get equal readings both sides. This is an s2k specific issue, and in 25 years of working on cars, the s2k is the only car to do this.
I did a once over on a guys car once. I did all the fluids except the oil. He said "dude dont bother even checking the oil. I'm on top of it all the time, I'm an amzoil dealer and i have a case in the trunk".
well it should have been in the engine He grenaded the engine 20 minutes from my house, due to improper checking. his oil always showed full. Would he have flipped the stick over, he would have seen it blank.
Car later got a 2.2L and is now spinning the 2.2 at 9k. MY 2001.
I think your issue is with the fuel pump. Second gear is in direct relation to your auto-X road speed. Tight turns, just the rightr amount of inertia to starve the pump. Stock fuel pumps can run on 0 bars and not starve the pump.

I'm sure its the fuel pump. I'm boosting 500whp and if I'm not on 1/2 a tank or more with fuel when I take off hard in 2nd, all Tue fuel will rush away from the pump and it will bog like if you let off the gas real fast. I'm thinking your taking a turn in 2nd and the low tank of fuel is moving away from your pump. It won't do it in any other gear because your not taking hard turns in any other gear. It's not the vtec.

Okay, it's good to finally know what the problem is. Next question: Can the sudden temporary starvation of fuel to the engine do any damage? Thanks for all the help guys!
