Had a CEL yesterday when i fired up, drove away and it had a rev limiter at 3k. pulled the CEL and i know its dumb but i dont remember the code but the discription was TDC sensor fault.
I simply cycled power and the car was back to normal aside the CEL still on. ive since cleared the CEL.

the oil level was a tad bit low but nothing to cry over. I read something about the gas caps being to loose, mabye the case since i had gotten gas 45 minutes prior to the problem and its not a factory cap (previous owner broke the lock mech).

Crankshaft sensor will do this.
