Default Rev hang type symptom

So here in the last week or so, my car randomly decides it doesn't want to completely close the throttle. Like for instance tonight i was pulling up to red light and when i put it in neutral it stayed at about 1400 rpm for about 2 seconds AFTER i was completely stopped. I has done it probably 3 times while upshifting too. I searched a little and didn't really know what to even look for so here I am. Thanks for the help

i think you should do the Map Whack trick thing. There is a sticky about your symptoms somewhere. Yea it could be any number of sensors. I figured it might have something to do with it getting cold but idk.

I've noticed this a few times with my 06. Wondering if it's just an 06+ Drive by wire thing.

My idle was a little low and my dash lights were flickering the past few months. I already ordered a new rectifier and it hasn't come in yet. Today, I pulled off the throttle body and cleaned off the carbon that created an airtight seal around the throttle flap. Now my car idles at around 1400. I think its because the ECU hasn't learned to stop compensating for the lack of airflow around the flap.
