My dog decided to rip up the vinyl part near where the window meets the top of the door. Is it possible to just reupholster that part? It's just that top section that the tweeter is mounted to...pic below of an s2000 door in case you can't picture it.

The actual panel is plastic but the dog only ripped a small section of the vinyl covering. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience in getting this part reupholstered. I would rather do that (assuming it would be cheaper) than to get a whole new panel...

I posted a simular question a couple of days ago but no one replied. I have a very small hole in the vinyl on the passenger door and may try a vinyl repair kit before seeking professional help. If my self repair doesn't look that good then I can take it to a trim shop and have it done.
Question- Has anyone made a vinyl repair and been satisfied with the results?

negcamber is correct. 2 reasons to get a used panel:
- OEM look and fitment. You won't be able to match the vinyl 100%.
- Cheaper to buy a used one in perfect condition than reupholster.
