Default reseting ecu after MODS

i thought i read somewhere that we should do this after every mod we do on the s2k. there is supposed to be a fuse and I don't remember which one I had to remove... also... would this jack up the radio or anything of that sort??? I tried the search but it seems like it is not going... Thanks for the help

i belive it's the 7.5amp back up acc fuse. or you can just unplug ut battery for an hour. might wanna have your radio code hany just in case.

im not really one to be anal about my cars. i just get in and drive til it breaks. i havnt heard of anything about resetting the computer after mods. but of course i could be wrong.
and what kind of modifications are you talking about? air filters, mufflers, "clear corners", spark plugs? or turbo, nitrious, cams, fuel management?
the car's computer does "learn" as you drive it. so any minor changes it should be able to pick up on it and compensate or adapt to your mods.

that was what i was thinking... just wanted to be sure... i never reset my ecu b4 when I had my prelude but then that was a prelude and now this is a s2000... still a honda.. but i just want to make sure... i am trying out a friend's header and and changed out my stock filter for the comptech one. i can say i didn't notice any change from the intake but there is a change in the header... most likely will have to get my own if it all works out. thanks for helping me out!!!

no NEED to reset...it will learn some people do it so that it "see's" the mods at the beginning of its life...but really its not a big deal. and pulling the "backup" fuse will not mess up radio presets
